Facilitated border crossing procedures are applied for the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran wishing to visit Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic since September 20, 2014

Facilitated border crossing procedures  are applied for the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran wishing to visit Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic since September 20, 2014.  

Citizens of Iran can obtain the entrance permission authorizing them to stay in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 15 days paying 10 Euros in border crossing points of Nakhchivan. Above-mentioned entrance permission for the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran can be obtained at Julfa and Shahtaxti (Poldasht) custom crossing points of Nakhchivan-Iran border, Sadarak (Dilucu) custom crossing point of Nakhchivan-Turkey border and at the Nakhchivan International Airport.

This entrance permission is valid only for the visit to the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
